Dr. Cynthia Carter-Horn Appointed as New Executive Director of Burton Bridge Ministry
The Burton Bridge Ministry has announced the appointment of Dr. Cynthia Carter-Horn as its new executive director, succeeding Debbie Schroeder.
Dr. Carter-Horn, a resident of Burton, brings over 30 years of experience in higher education, having served at Tarleton State University, Texas A&M University-Central Texas, and Prairie View A&M University.
Prior to her retirement as Senior Vice President for Business Affairs and Chief Financial Officer at Prairie View A&M, Dr. Carter-Horn also gained experience in the nonprofit sector, working with at-risk youth and developing skills in fundraising and grant-writing.
Dr. Carter-Horn's extensive experience makes her an ideal candidate to lead the ministry.
