Act of Reparation in St. Peter's Basilica
Cardinal Mauro Gambetti presided over a penitential rite of reparation at the main altar of St. Peter's Basilica on October 13.
The rite followed a serious act of desecration and included a penitential procession, sprinkling of holy water, and incensing of the altar to purify it.
