The St Patricks Plains wind project in Tasmania has been delayed for the fifth time, with a new deadline for a decision set for November 28.
The project, which was originally designed for 67 turbines and has been scaled back to 47, is proposed for a site south-east of Milena and 25km north of Bothwell in Tasmania’s Central Highlands.
The project was deemed to need federal supervision under the EPBC Act in 2019.
The delay was requested by developer Ark Energy, according to a Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water government spokesperson.
