Hamas Releases Remains of 4 Deceased Hostages
Hamas has released the remains of 4 deceased hostages, leaving 24 still unaccounted for.
The group is obligated to release all hostages' remains under the ceasefire deal. Despite this, only 4 bodies were released, including those of Guy Illouz, Bipin Joshi, Daniel Perez, and Yossi Sharabi.
Hamas had already indicated that it was not prepared to release all of the deceased hostages’ remains immediately, following two years of war in Gaza.
The release of only 4 bodies has brought disappointment to many who had hoped for closure for the families of the hostages.
