Shot Fired on Interstate 64 After Verbal Confrontation

A vehicle on Interstate 64 came under fire after a verbal altercation early this morning in Norfolk, according to Virginia State Police.

The shooting occurred at 2:09 a.m. on I-64 eastbound near the Norview Avenue on-ramp. The driver reported that a black Infinity sped up behind him at a high rate of speed, prompting a lane change and subsequent verbal confrontation before one shot was fired from the suspect vehicle.
