Arsonist Cody Balmer Pleads Guilty

Cody Balmer, the suspected arsonist accused of firebombing the governor's residence in April, has pleaded guilty to all charges.

Balmer, 38, of Harrisburg, appeared in person at the Dauphin County Courthouse in Harrisburg for the plea hearing.

The night of the arson, Balmer called 911 and admitted to setting fire to Gov. Josh Shapiro's residence with several Molotov cocktails around 2 a.m.

Gov. Josh Shapiro and his family were inside asleep at the time of the incident.
