A controversy has erupted in the Derry SFC regarding a two-point score in the semi-final match between Slaughtneil and Newbridge.
Slaughtneil's Shane McGuigan kicked a shot in the closing stages, but referee Martin McErleane awarded only a one-point score, deeming it was taken from inside the 40-metre arc.
