Man Shot and Killed After Shooting Involving Officers
A man has died after a shooting involving Phoenix police officers on Saturday night near 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road.
According to police, the incident occurred just before 8 p.m. near an apartment complex, where officers responded to reports of a fight between a man and a woman.
Police stated that the man was allegedly holding a knife and failed to drop the weapon, leading to the officer-involved shooting.
The man died from his injuries at the scene. Fortunately, there were no injuries to officers and no outstanding suspects.
