DC is in desperate need of another horror headliner, and luckily they already have the best character they could ask for.
DC is best known for their superhero comics, but they also excel in subgenres like mystery, romance, and horror.
In the past, DC was known for its incredible horror comics, with classic runs like
Alan Moore’s Saga of the Swamp Thingand
John Constantine, Hellblazer.
These horror stories showed a new perspective of the DC world and scratched plenty of itches for those that wanted darker stories.
However, the amount of horror comics from DC has decreased significantly in recent years.
