Break the Bank 50-mile Ultra Marathon
The inaugural Break the Bank 50-mile Ultra Marathon took place on Saturday morning, starting at 8AM. Runners began at Sturgeon Lake and followed the Willard Munger Trail, ending at the famous Morgan Park bank, now a residential home with its original bank vault intact.
Over 100 runners participated in the marathon, with Rachel Ragona being the first to cross the finish line in under seven hours.
“Probably one of the prettiest courses I’ve ever run.
The course offered a unique and scenic route, making it a memorable experience for the participants.
