Multi-Vehicle Crash in Butler County Leaves 2 Dead, 1 in Critical Condition
A multi-vehicle crash occurred on Saturday in Butler County, resulting in two fatalities and one person in critical condition.
According to the Middletown Division of Police, the crash happened at the intersection of State Route 122 and Dixie Highway. Three vehicles were involved, and three people were taken to Atrium Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
One person was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, while the other two were flown to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight. One of the individuals died from their injuries at the hospital, and the other remains in critical condition.
Police currently do not believe that speed or impairment were contributing factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
