Nepal Wins ICC T20 World Cup Asia & EAP Qualifier Title
Nepal secured their biggest ICC tournament triumph with a 124-run victory against Samoa.
The team remained unbeaten, winning all matches from the group stage through the Super Six round, defeating Samoa by 124 runs in their final match at Al Amerat Cricket Ground, Oman.
This is the biggest tournament Nepal has won in competitions organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Put to bat first, Nepal posted 211 for four in their 20 overs, with Kushal Bhurtel scoring 17 off 15 balls before losing the first wicket at 63 runs in the seventh over.
Nepal have already secured their berth at the 2026 T20 World Cup, in a second consecutive entry for the Rhinos, who had first played the top match in 2014.
