Domestic Disturbance Leads to Charges in Butler Township
A 33-year-old man, Brett Edward Williams, has been charged by Butler Township police following an alleged domestic disturbance at a residence on South Butler Terrace Drive.
According to police, the incident occurred on Wednesday, and Williams allegedly assaulted a woman. After being taken into custody and placed in a cruiser, Williams is said to have repeatedly kicked a door and attempted to crawl through a partition to the front seat.
The police responded to the residence at approximately 10 p.m. after receiving a third-party call reporting an assault.
No comment was made by the authorities regarding the current status of the victim or the motives behind the alleged assault.
