CBI Uncovers Massive Assets Linked to NHIDCL Executive Director
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has discovered a significant amount of unaccounted wealth belonging to the arrested Executive Director of the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), following raids in multiple cities.
The officer was caught accepting a bribe of Rs 10 lakh on October 14 and is now at the center of a corruption probe. Searches at his office and residences in Guwahati, Ghaziabad, and Imphal recovered Rs 2.62 crore in cash and numerous documents related to real estate and investments.
