Let's celebrate CDN's success — and work to ensure its future. Four years ago, we launched an exciting new venture for Northwest Washington: a locally owned and independent daily news enterprise, the Cascadia Daily News.
Our goal was to fill a news vacuum in our community by building a news product from scratch, combining modern digital delivery with a weekly print edition.
The results have surpassed my wildest expectations. Cascadia Daily News has grown in size, scope, and authority. Our journalism has won numerous industry awards, and we are proud to have been named “publication of record” for the City of Bellingham.
The Cascadia region has been my family’s home for five generations and I have devoted my life’s work to the development and betterment of our community.
