Utah Mother Charged with Child Torture
A woman from Murray has been charged with multiple felonies, including child torture and aggravated child abuse, in a case that spanned years.
Prosecutors alleged the abuse occurred from 2022 through July 2025 and involved an 11-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl.
According to charging documents filed on Oct. 17, 42-year-old Elizabeth Rose Conlin was charged with child torture, aggravated child abuse and other related counts.
An ex-boyfriend was also listed as a defendant in the charging documents, though it was unclear at the time the charging documents were filed which charges he could face.
No comment from the defendants was available at the time of the report.
