Teen in Critical Condition After Shooting in Robeson County
A 15-year-old is in a hospital's intensive care unit after being shot Saturday night in Robeson County, according to Maxton Police Chief Schirra Johnson.
The shooting occurred on North Brooklyn Street in the Maxton area. Chief Johnson believes the incident may have resulted from a prior incident on Cottingham Street in Maxton.
Chief Johnson stated that several persons of interest have been identified, but they are not currently in custody. The investigation is ongoing and active, with assistance from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI).
