Moy Davitts Impress as County Final Awaits
Moy Davitts produced a stunning second half performance, overcoming Ardnaree in impressive fashion.
Paul Mc Garry's Moy Davitts came from four down at the break to book their spot in the county final, where Kilmeena now awaits.
The North Mayo men had started best, with Cathal Noone causing problems for the Moy Davitts defence. Ardnaree enjoyed a numerical advantage for ten minutes when Brian Reape was shown a black card for a cynical foul.
At the break, Ardnaree led 0-7 to 0-4, but whatever Paul Mc Garry and the Moy Davitts management said at the changeover worked wonders. Moy Davitts came out strong in the second half, with a goal from Reape and two-pointers from Ronan Clarke and Cian McHale putting them in charge.
Cian McHale tagged on further points as Ardnaree struggled in attack.
