Plans submitted for 54-storey residential tower in Canary Wharf

Plans have been submitted to build a 54-storey residential tower with more than 800 homes in Canary Wharf, east London.

Areli Developments has submitted plans to Tower Hamlets Council for a 54-storey development that will comprise:

The tower, called 77 Marsh Wall, would be located on the Isle of Dogs opposite the South Quay DLR Station.

The application, submitted on behalf of British Airways Pension Trustees and managed by BlackRock, seeks permission to demolish an existing 17-storey office building to make way for the new development.
