Steelers Lose Yet Another CB vs. Browns

Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. was evaluated for a head injury against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

During the latter half of the matchup, Porter headed off the field and into the blue medical tent on the sideline. This incident occurred after other cornerbacks suffered injuries, including Darius Slay, who suffered a shoulder injury in the third quarter, and Brandin Echols, who was banged up before Porter in the fourth.

Before exiting the field, Porter nearly intercepted a Dillon Gabriel pass meant for Jerry Jeudy, resulting in the Browns settling for a field goal to make it a 23-9 count.

Porter exited the tent without a helmet, jogged back and forth on the sideline, and then returned under the cover.

No official statement was given on Porter's status.
