According to the SRCS, the incident occurred in the city of Bara amid attacks by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
Social media circulated a video showing the torture and beating of members of the Red Crescent volunteer team in Bara, a scene that shames humanity.
Although local media points to the paramilitary RSF as responsible, the SRCS did not assign blame to any specific party.
