Mahomes, Hunt Lead Kansas City Chiefs to Dominant Win
Patrick Mahomes threw for 299 yards and three touchdowns, while Kareem Hunt found the end zone twice.
“There wasn’t a lot of punting but there wasn’t a lot of points,”said Chiefs coach Andy Reid, describing the first half as "downright weird" with turnovers and failed fourth-down conversions.
The second half was more typical for Kansas City, with Mahomes and Hunt leading the team to a 28-7 victory over the Washington Commanders.
The Chiefs' defense was also dominant, helping the team pull away from a halftime tie.
