The exchange-traded fund (ETF) market on the Singapore Exchange reached a record high of $16.3 billion in assets under management (AUM) as of end-September, marking a 40% year-on-year increase.

According to SGX's third-quarter ETF Market Highlights report, the market recorded robust net inflows of $736 million in the third quarter, bringing the total net inflows for the year to $1.4 billion.

Trading activity in the quarter surged, with the average daily turnover for ETFs climbing 68% year on year to $31 million. The SPDR Gold Shares ranked as the top ETF for net inflows in Q3.
