Pre-school Fined and Staff Banned After Molestation Incident
A pre-school in Singapore has been fined $26.2k and three employees banned from the sector after a cook molested three toddlers.
The incident occurred between May and November 2023, when a cook, Teo Guan Huat, sexually assaulted three girls aged one to two while they napped at school.
Teo Guan Huat admitted on Oct 27 to sexually assaulting three girls aged one to two.
The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) investigated the school's safety procedures and found multiple breaches that compromised children's safety.
