Upgrading to the New Windows Start Menu
Microsoft has introduced a revamped Start menu, addressing a long-standing issue that required an extra click to view all installed apps.
The new Start menu layout offers three different viewing options for installed programs, eliminating the need to click the "All" button.
Original Start Menu Limitations
The original Start menu displayed a list of shortcuts to apps and files chosen by Windows, placed in a Recommended section below pinned apps.
Customizing the New Start Menu
The new Start menu allows users to turn off the Recommended section by right-clicking, selecting Settings, and toggling off options to show recently added apps, recommended files, and tips.
