TOYO Selected for Coaxial Closed-Loop Geothermal Feasibility Study in Japan
TOYO Engineering has been approved by JOGMEC to conduct a feasibility study on coaxial closed-loop geothermal technology in Japan.
The study, titled "Feasibility Study on Coaxial Double-Pipe Type 'Closed-Loop Geothermal Power Generation Technology' in Japan", aims to assess the technical feasibility of implementing closed-loop technology in Japan, utilizing existing geothermal resources.
- The closed-loop technology does not require groundwater or geothermal reservoirs.
- It can be deployed in various geological conditions as long as a heat source exists.
The proposal submitted by Toyo Engineering Corporation (TOYO) has been selected by the Japan Energy and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC).
