The cost of incorporating a business will rise from £50 to £100 on 1 February 2026, as announced by Companies House. This change applies to digital business incorporations.
A previous fee increase occurred in May 2024, from £12 to £50. Other rising fees include the digital confirmation statement filing cost, which will increase from £34 to £54.
Some fees are being reduced, such as the digital voluntary strike-off fee, decreasing from £33 to £13.
Companies House stated that the increases will fund their work in "building a more trustworthy environment for consumers and legitimate businesses and reducing the harm they face from those who do not meet their obligations"
