SUV Crash with Semi-Truck near Woodstock
The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office reported that an SUV failed to stop at a stop sign, resulting in a collision with a semi-truck, which seriously injured a woman near Woodstock.
Emergency responders from the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District and the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene, located at the intersection of Route 47 and Charles Road, at approximately 1:06 p.m. on Monday.
- The crash involved a semi-truck and a mid-size SUV.
- Two people were inside the SUV: an adult male and an adult female.
- The woman was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated.
According to Woodstock Fire/Rescue District Public Information Officer Alex Vucha, the woman suffered serious injuries and was flown to the hospital.
