Major Companies Support Ellen MacArthur Foundation's 2030 Plastics Agenda
The Ellen MacArthur Foundation has released a report outlining its 2030 Plastics Agenda for Business, urging companies to collaborate to reduce plastic waste.
The report sets out three key levers to drive market transformation and achieve a circular economy for plastics.
- Signatories of the Global Commitment initiative, representing 20% of the global plastic packaging market, have reaffirmed their support for the agenda.
- Companies such as Amcor, Borealis, Colgate-Palmolive, Danone, L’Oréal, Nestlé, SC Johnson, PepsiCo, TOMRA, and Unilever are among the supporters.
- Collectively, signatories have avoided 14 million tonnes of virgin plastics.
