Election Day in California: Ballot Processing Underway
Although California voters still have several more hours to cast their ballot, counting is already underway across the state.
It's the last day for voters to cast their ballots in the Proposition 50 special election, which will determine the power of California's Congressional district lines.
Republicans view Proposition 50 as a Democratic power grab, while Democrats argue it's necessary to counter Republican redistricting efforts in Texas.
Voting Details
- Vote centers will be open from 7 a.m.
- Those in line at 8 p.m. will still have their votes counted
- Voters can mail in or drop off their ballots, or vote in person
