Air India Completes First Phase of Legacy A320neo Fleet Retrofit Programme
Air India has successfully completed the retrofit programme for its legacy Airbus A320neo fleet, with all 27 aircraft now featuring new cabin interiors and the airline's new livery.
The completion of this phase is part of a broader $400 million initiative to modernize Air India's entire legacy fleet, which began in September 2024.
With the retrofitted aircraft, combined with newly delivered A320neos and integrated A320s from the Vistara merger, Air India now operates 104 A320 Family aircraft with new or upgraded cabin interiors.
Future retrofit programs will include A321s, 787-9s, and 777-300ERs.
