IHSAA Annual Football Sectional Draw
The Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) held its annual football sectional draw on Sunday night, determining the first round matchups for the high school football state tournament.
Class 5A Tournament
The Class 5A tournament begins a week after the other classes, with only four teams participating. In sectional 16, the matchups are:
- North at New Albany on Halloween night
- Castle hosts Floyd Central on Halloween night
Class 4A Sectional 24
The following matchups are scheduled for October 24:
- Reitz vs. Central at the Bowl
- Heritage Hills at Washington
- Boonville hosts Jasper
- Bosse at Harrison
Note that Bosse and Harrison will play back-to-back weeks, as they are also scheduled to meet in week 9.
Class 3A Sectional 32
The matchups for this sectional are notable and will be announced separately.
