Police Targeted by Youths with Fireworks
Police have condemned 'absolutely unacceptable' behaviour after being targeted by a group of up to 30 youths wielding fireworks in Preston city centre.
The incident occurred over the weekend, with the group initially aiming rockets at members of the public and their properties, prompting police to scramble to the scene.
However, upon arrival, the youths began targeting the police instead, with around 25 fireworks aimed at their vehicles, some exploding within arm's reach.
