Christian Horner, the former Red Bull team principal, is planning his return to the paddock in 2026.
Horner was relieved of his duties at Red Bull in September, with the team paying him £80m to terminate his contract, which ran until 2030.
- Alpine are not interested in Horner, despite his close relationship with Flavio Briatore.
- Aston Martin are also not planning to make a move for Horner.
Horner is looking to take on an ownership role in another team and has been speaking to several potential candidates.
He may also consider setting up his own F1 team, as the sport allows for 12 teams to be on the grid.
Horner is keen to have a stake in the next team he joins.
