Laurie Beth Schuh passed away unexpectedly at the age of 68 on September 12, 2025.
She is survived by her loving spouse, Amy Meese, and her rescue pets, Bear, Alfie, Jackson, and Rio.
Her parents, John (Jack) Schuh and Mary Ann Schuh (Springborn), preceded her in death.
Laurie was an art teacher in the Milwaukee Public School District for several years and was known for her love of her job and her students.
She loved her job and the kids she was able to mentor and teach.
Despite facing an early retirement due to a work injury, Laurie remained positive and enjoyed spending time in Door County and at her home in Burlington.
Laurie was an artistic soul and a loyal supporter of animal and environmental rights, always making time for friends in need.
