Snowmaking Operations Begin
Snowmaking operations have started, signaling the countdown to ski season. A-Basin, Keystone, and Loveland have activated their snow guns.
In early October, crews at Colorado's ski resorts begin their work, often at night, to make snow. According to Keystone Resort communication manager Sarah McClear,
our snowmakers are people who are passionate about the ski and snowboard community. These individuals are dedicated to their craft, chasing snow year-round.

started snowmaking this week, from Sunday night into Monday morning, using digital monitors to measure wet-bulb temperature.
