Neil Diamond Performs ‘Sweet Caroline’ After Retiring

At 84, Neil Diamond still knows how to draw a crowd, recently taking the stage in Denver at the 39th annual Carousel Ball.

He performed his 1969 classic ‘Sweet Caroline’ with singer-guitarist Nick Fradiani, after retiring from touring in 2018 due to a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis.

‘I’m still coming back for more,’ said the 84-year-old hitmaker.

Before the performance, Diamond received an Inspirational Lifetime Achievement Award for his work with the Children’s Diabetes Foundation and the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes.
