Woman Admits to Throwing Drink in McDonald's Incident
A 33-year-old woman, Stacey Perse, appeared before Portlaoise District Court, admitting to throwing a drink into the face of a customer in McDonald's, Portlaoise.
According to Garda Sergeant JJ Kirby, the incident occurred on November 28, 2024, where the defendant allegedly began shouting at another woman and threw a drink at her, hitting her in the face.
Restorative justice should be explored and a victim impact statement should be canvassed in the case.
Judge Susan Fay granted legal aid and adjourned the matter to April 20. The defendant has no previous convictions.
