Flood Damage and Cleanup Efforts
A damage census is underway as cleanup intensifies in flood zones. Authorities reported that 77 communities in Puebla, 57 in Veracruz, and several in Querétaro remain isolated.
According to President Claudia Sheinbaum, the death toll from recent flooding in Veracruz, Hidalgo, Puebla, and Querétaro remains at 64, with 65 people still missing.
