CyberBay Conference Highlights National Security Concerns
Over 1,000 attendees gathered at the inaugural CyberBay conference to discuss Tampa Bay's growing role in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and national security.
The event featured a simulated cyberattack, performed by dancers in LED-lit costumes, representing white-hat and black-hat hackers. This unique approach aimed to visualize the risks of cyberattacks, which can be difficult to communicate.
The FBI estimates there are 700,000 unfilled cybersecurity jobs nationwide – a shortage that leaves both private companies and public agencies vulnerable to attack.
