Homelessness is a significant issue that can cause mental health problems. Levinia Brown from Rankin Inlet notes that homelessness and overcrowding have severely affected many Nunavummiut.

Brown explains that simple tasks, like deciding who cooks, can lead to intense arguments when living in overcrowded conditions, such as cooking for 17 people.
