Albert Lea Football Dominates in Regular Season Finale
Albert Lea football capped off the regular season with a road game in Belle Plaine, winning 54-7.
The Tigers won the coin toss and elected to defer to the second half. However, an onside kick gave Albert Lea the ball near midfield.
Despite a deep loss in the first offensive play, the Tigers extended the drive and scored when Brecken Wacholz punched in an eight-yard run. A made PAT from Isaiah Diaz made the score 7-0 early in the first quarter.
