CSP Welcomes Report on Community Rehab Crisis
The CSP has welcomed a new report highlighting the growing crisis in community health services, warning that under-resourced community rehabilitation risks undermining the government’s promise to shift care from hospitals into neighbourhood settings.
A report from the Nuffield Trust reveals that waiting lists for community health services in England have risen sharply, with over 1.1 million people now waiting for community care, a 23% increase for adults and 58% for children and young people since 2022.
