Photographer Captures Stunning, Rare Creature in the Bay Area
A local photographer, Matthew Raifman, has captured stunning photos of a rare albino deer in the Bay Area wilderness.
Raifman took the photos on Sunday, following a hiking outing with his family. He described the encounter as likely his "rarest find yet."
"We saw this striking albino mule deer in the middle of the road,"
Raifman shared with KTVU. He used a telephoto lens to snap the shots, keeping a good distance from the deer.
The photos were taken after Raifman and his family were driving out of the area and came upon the rare creature.
