As part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Ada County Victim Services Center is hosting its annual "Taking Steps Against Domestic Violence Walk."
The event aims to honor survivors and raise awareness for available resources. Participants will walk from the Ada County Victim Services Center on 6th Street to the steps of the Ada County Courthouse on Front Street.
Officials emphasize the significant effort required for survivors to come forward, noting they often endure a cycle of manipulation, tension, physical harm, and reconciliation.
