Flyers' Offense Struggles in 5-2 Loss to Jets
After winning their home opener against the Florida Panthers, the Philadelphia Flyers (1-2-1) hosted the Winnipeg Jets (3-1-0) at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Thursday.
The Flyers had a 1-1 record against the Jets last season. Before the game, defenseman Cam York was activated off the injured reserve, and Emil Andrae was sent down to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Dan Vladar had a strong showing against the Panthers, but Samuel Ersson started in goal on Thursday for his second game of the season.
