Moyoxide's Legacy as an Anti-Graft Crusader Remembered
Desire "Moyoxide" Moyo, the late Member of Parliament for Nkulumane, was honored in a solemn gathering with poetry and tributes, celebrating his life dedicated to speaking truth to power.
Moyo, a revered poet, died in a road accident along the Bulawayo-Gweru Highway last Friday, while traveling with four other opposition MPs when their vehicle collided with an elephant.
The accident occurred on the neglected infrastructure he often condemned in his powerful verse.
