New Measures to Secure the Border
The Prime Minister announced new measures from the upcoming Budget to secure the border and keep communities safe. These measures include:
- Hiring more qualified officers to expand the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) presence at key ports of entry.
- Strengthening enforcement against organised crime, human smuggling, immigration fraud, and terrorism.
