Plans for High Street Flats Rejected
Proposed flats for the site of a former garage have been rejected due to their "cramped" design, which would "cause harm" to the area.
The site, located off Tenterden High Street, has been vacant since 2017 and is situated between Specsavers and the now-closed Keith Francis hairdressers.
- A planning application was submitted to Ashford Borough Council (ABC) in April.
- The application proposed 10 new homes in two blocks, following the demolition of the garage and adjoining buildings.
- The plans included 12 car parking and 10 cycle spaces.
