Despite 22 objections, including from the local community council, the accommodation plan has been given the go-ahead.
Proposals for glamping cabins, along with a café, shop, and studio space, on unused land at Dollar Golf Course, have been approved.
The proposal also seeks an extension to the existing car parking area and the installation of a solar array, with a change of use of the existing clubhouse, to a more multi-functional space with a café, shop, business, and studio space in one.
Nicholas Poett, director of Harviestoun Estates, submitted a planning application to build seven cabins, a facilities unit, and repurpose the greenkeepers hut, on the eastern section of the former 18-hole course.
A new raised patio area to the front is proposed for outdoor seating, and a change of use of the greenkeepers hut to a class four business use is also sought.
